Vision and mission are what we hope our faculty and our students to become. In general, here are the vision and mission of our faculty.

The Faculty of Language and Literature is committed to being one of the best foreign language institutions in teaching, research, and community service.

Mission:

1. Being one of the best language teaching institutions in Indonesia.
2. Offering foreign language teaching programs.
3. Offering a variety of optional programs relevant to job markets in which foreign language proficiency is a prerequisite.
4. Being a center for language and culture research.
5. Being a center for community service in the foreign language field.
6. Being a center for the training of teachers in Indonesian as a foreign language
